Some Land Rover specific tools that I have bought, and would recommend.
GAP Diagnostic IIDtool bluetooth. The best aftermarket Land Rover diagnostic system for the enthusiast
If your a serious enthusiast that likes to fix your own car, then this is the tool for you. Amazing features on this one, from calibrating your suspension, to changing CCF files. It can do almost everything that the dealer can do.
iCarsoft LR V3 Diagnostic Tool.
If you own a Land Rover and just want to do simple diagnostics, or your budget won't stretch to the GAP tool, then this might be the one for you. It has a lot of features, will communicate with all systems on the car and do the usual things that diagnostic tools can do. You can't change CCF files or calibrate the suspension with this one.
Thinkdiag2, budget price, yet fully featured diagnostic tool.
I was pleasantly surprised with this tool, especially with the price. All systems diagnostics and even height calibration on this one. There is a 12 month subscription (first year free), and don't forget to check the discount box when ordering.
Launch X431 CRP919E
An excellent Bidirectional scan tool, that covers all makes and models. First two years updates are free, and you only lose the ability to update after the two years if you don't subscrive....the machine will still work.
Plugged it into the Range Rover and it communicated with all the systems and the bidirectional functions on this tool works well.
