The Fiat Panda 4x4
The Hobbits (Tina's) first car was a Fiat Panda, the same colour as this one but only in 2wd. She has always gone on about how great her Fiat Panda was, so when the opportunity came up, I bought her another one. This time however it is four wheel drive and has been called by many people 'The Mountain Goat'.
It is in pretty solid condition for its age, as cars don't suffer as much on the corrosion front here in France. |
So whats the plan?

The Hobbit wants to start using her car for every day things like running to the shops, dump runs (it is registered as a van and has no rear seats) and general running about. She doesn't like the Range Rover that much and would prefer the use 'The Mighty Panda'.
The plan then is to go from front to back, replacing all suspension and brake components in a bid to make it feel like new. I never thought I would end up fixing Fiat Pandas, but it will be a welcome change from the complexities of the Range Rovers. |
