In 2016, our thriving gardening and landscaping business in France took an unexpected turn when I was rushed to the hospital with an aortic dissection. After months of recovery and rehabilitation, I returned home, now reliant on a wheelchair. Faced with these life changes, we made the difficult decision to close the gardening business and focus on finding new, wheelchair-accessible ways to earn a living.

Gardening and growing chilies remain a passion of ours, and we continue to enjoy them alongside our main focus: keeping our vehicles running smoothly and maintaining our machinery to support our farming duties without interruption.
What began as a simple YouTube channel to document our journey for personal memories quickly grew as more people connected with our content. Encouraged by the positive response, we decided to embrace the opportunity to grow the channel further. Today, with nearly 12,000 subscribers, we’re proud to be building a vibrant and supportive community. Life has thrown its share of challenges our way, but we’ve faced them head-on with resilience and determination. After my life-changing health crisis that left me in a wheelchair, and Tina’s ongoing battle with cancer, our journey has been anything but easy. Yet, through it all, we’ve continued to fight, adapt, and find strength in each other.
Despite these hardships, we remain committed to making the best of every day. From working on projects that keep our farm running to growing our online presence, we’ve discovered new ways to keep moving forward. Our YouTube channel has become more than just a creative outlet—it’s a way to connect with others, share our story, and show that even in tough times, there’s always room for growth and hope. We’re still here, finding our way, and doing everything we can to survive and thrive. It’s not always easy, but it’s the life we know, and we’re determined to live it to the fullest. |
